Overview

A growing energy services company that provides pollution control systems and services to the power sector and other heavy industries is looking to hire Industrial Equipment Operators/Field Service Mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain our mobile flue gas treatment test equipment under direction of site or project managers
  • Gather data relevant to the operations, maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Perform manual labor in a heavy industrial environment in all weather conditions
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls issues
  • Effectively communicate with Customer's Operations and Engineering personnel as well as with other Breen personnel both in the field and in the corporate headquarters
  • Willing to travel and work for extended periods of time away from home or relocate for long term assignments.
  • Draft and distribute daily and weekly reports

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to effectively communicate with Customer's Operations and Engineering Personnel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to use computers including Windows, Google Documents, MS Office, email and time and expenses reporting programs
  • Familiar with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable logic Controllers (PLC)
  • Able to conduct basic troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical and controls equipment 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS: 

  • Previous experience in a heavy industry operations/maintenance environment
  • Previous work with and understanding of pneumatic systems for transfer of materials
  • Qualifications in forklifts, aerial lifts and arc flash
  • Welding experience (FCAW, GTAW, GMAW, SMAWon CS, SS, lnconel and aluminum)
  • 120 VAC, 480 VAC electrical wiring experience
